A family dentist for Carnegie
Carnegie families often reach us just as the kids hit the teenage years, braces coming off, wisdom teeth stirring, and independence meaning they need their own dentist. We’re set up for that stretch of family life.
Through the school and teenage years
Carnegie has grown into one of the south-east’s busiest village strips, the Koornang Road shops, a thriving food scene and the station at its heart, drawing a young, diverse, family-heavy population. Many households arrive with school-age kids who become teenagers fast. That’s the stretch of family life we’re set up for in Carnegie: children’s visits, the teenage years, and keeping an eye on wisdom teeth before they cause trouble.
Thirteen minutes from Koornang Road
From Carnegie, take Dandenong Road or Koornang Road west, roughly thirteen minutes. We’re on the corner of Dandenong and Orrong Roads, with onsite parking so you can pull in and park when you arrive.
Teens, wisdom teeth, and when to check them
Wisdom teeth usually make themselves known between about seventeen and twenty-five. They don’t all cause trouble, plenty sit fine and stay, but when there isn’t room they can push, partly erupt, or trap food and get infected. The trick is watching, not waiting for pain. A simple X-ray in the late teens shows whether they’re likely to behave, so any decision to remove them is planned and calm rather than a rushed, painful weekend.
