General & preventive
Professional
cleans & hygiene
A gentle, thorough clean that removes what brushing can't reach, and keeps your gums healthy for life.

In plain language
What a professional clean does
A clean removes the plaque and hardened tartar that build up even with good brushing, especially below the gumline where you can't reach.
We then scale and polish, and check your gum health, leaving your mouth fresh and your gums protected.
Worth the visit
Why gum health matters more than people think
Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults, and it's usually painless until advanced. Regular cleans stop it taking hold, and healthy gums are linked to better general health too.

Honest about what to expect
After your clean
Your teeth may feel a little sensitive for a day or two, which settles quickly, and you can eat and drink as normal. If your gums were inflamed, some tenderness as they heal is normal.

Questions about cleans & hygiene
Does a clean hurt?
It's gentle, and we go at your pace, just tell us if anything feels uncomfortable.
My gums bleed, is that bad?
Bleeding usually means inflammation, which is common and very treatable.
How often should I have a clean?
Usually every six months, more often if your gums need it.
Will it remove all staining?
Surface staining, yes; deeper discolouration may need whitening.
