In plain language

What clear aligners are

Clear aligners are a series of near-invisible, removable trays that gradually move your teeth into place.

They're a discreet, comfortable alternative to braces for many cases, and you take them out to eat and brush.

Worth the visit

Why straighter teeth are about more than looks

Crowded or misaligned teeth are harder to clean and can wear unevenly, as well as affecting confidence. Straightening can improve both how your smile looks and how healthy it is to maintain.

  • You're willing to wear aligners as directed
  • You want to see the care plan before committing

A calm, step-by-step process

How clear aligners work

  1. 1

    Assess and plan

We check suitability and map out your result.

  2. 2

    Scan and design

A digital scan plans each stage of movement.

  3. 3

    Wear your aligners

A series of trays, changed as directed.

  4. 4

    Check-ins

Short reviews to keep things on track.

  5. 5

    Reveal and retain

Your straighter smile, held with a retainer.

Honest about what to expect

What to expect

Each new aligner brings mild pressure for a day or two, that's the teeth moving, and it settles. Results depend on wearing them as directed. A retainer afterwards keeps your teeth in place; we'll be clear about that commitment.
